Fate winked, "Don't say I didn't warn you!" then she turned the other way and turned into a hawk, and settled down on the floor, watching.

Diana grinned evilly at Fate. "Well if she really wants to..."

"Yes please!" Ada was waiting with bated breath.

"Hmm, okay." Diana's green eyes drilled into Ada's. Dark, moonless night, rain lashing the ground, thunder rolling across the sky in ominous warning of what to come. A low howl rose through the storm, piercing it like a knife through water. It was followed by a ground-shaking roar, then a swoosh, like wings unfurling. A cold wind, touching Ada's neck, the low sound of creepy laughing. A shape appearing from the shadows, a wolf the size of a Shetland pony, gaping jaws, red eyes. Another wolf joining the first, then another, then other, forming a circle around Ada, fangs dripping with saliva... or was it venom? Their red eyes fixed on her, and as one, a low growl rumbled from their chests, the reek of carrion. The sound of wings slapped through the air again, and an earth-shaking feeling as the massive creature landed. Ada couldn't see it, it was too dark.... Then hot breath, hit the back of her head, the odor of raw meat even more pronounced, the snarl of satisfaction, then claws wrapping around her waist, Diana thought.

Ada shuddered as chills went down her spine. This was slightly worser than she had expected. This is such an awesome power! was the only thing on her mind. Although the wolves had reminded her of the time when she had went camping several years back, and was attacked by wolves, resulting in the multiple scars on her back.

Thoughts of her parents' injuries flooded into her mind as well. The wolves clawing at them, as blood squirted out from their wounds. Desperate pleas for help, and to think they had barely survived.

Ada dropped to the ground with a loud thump!, Shivering and probably out cold.

Fate turned back into her human form and stared at Ada, lying flat on the floor. "She fainted," was all she said.

Diana let out a yelp. "God dang it!" she gasped, running over to Ada. "Someone get me some water!" She slapped her roommate's cheek gently. Come on, come on

"Anna!" Fate yelled, "You can use your powers now!"

Diana looked at Fate in confusion. "What do you mean...?"

Let me just answer for now

Fate looked at Diana and said,"Anna's powers are controlling fresh water."

"Oh," Diana exclaimed, looking surprised. "I've forgotten about that." She leaned over Ada again, slapping her cheeks gently. "My power..." she grimaced and gestured wordlessly.

Everything was black, and dark, and voices could be heard. Wha-!? Ada's eyelids slowly fluttered open, and she could see Fate and Diana looming over her. "What happened?" She rubbed her head and looked around."Huh?"

"You fainted," Diana told her. "Collapsed like a ragdoll after my illusion took affect. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She gently propped Ada up on the wall and proffered her roommate with a bottle of water.

"No! Never mind, it's alright. Your powers are amazing! Unlike mine," Ada joked. "Thanks," she winced as Diana passed her a bottle of water.

Diana smiled in relief. "Hey, yours still has their uses." Drake hovered nearby, frowning slightly, and looking restless. "I'd help... but I have my project to work on," he said finally. "Your project! I forgot about that!" Diana exclaimed, looking at her brother, eyes shining. Drake grinned and answered mysteriously, "I'm only adding the final touches now. I've been coming here every day in the summer to work on him. In fact... he'll be ready tomorrow." Her misery seemed to vanish from her face in an instant, excitement making her features glow. "Yep. Well, I'll be in the engineering labatory, Room 3," Drake told her, and exited the gym. Diana was practically bouncing.

Ada grinned and nudged Diana gently , "What project?"

"Its a secret," Diana said, eyes dancing with suppressed excitement. "You'll see tomorrow. Maybe even tonight if Drake can hurry!" She bounced slightly on her heels. "I've only saw it once," she said wistfully. "And it wasn't done. Oh! Drake is the best engineer I know."

Fate frowned thoughtfully, "I can imagine him using his ability to do all the work, while sitting on a chair and drinking coffee?"

"Are we going to continue practising?" Ada stood up and looked at the stations. Maybe there was something that she could practice on...

"I guess so," Fate stood up and turned into a lion, sharping her claws on a scratching post (I suppose there is one? )

Ada yawned. Lately this has become a really bad habit for her. Having slept 12 hours a day for the past few months, she should have had ample sleep. But then she always felt tired, and kept yawning, much to the annoyance of her parents.

"I guess-" *yawns* "I'm going back for a quick nap, or else i might just sleep on the floor. But it is quite comfy actually."

"Then why don't you?" Fate asked, changing back into her human form and then changing into a cat. The Fate cat stretched and yawned, showing sharp little teeth and curled into a ball on the floor and promptly fell asleep.

Ada shrugged her shoulders and huddled up on the ground together with Fate.
