"Yeah..." Ada whispered as she stood rooted to the ground. This was just amazing! She took short small steps and observed every feature of the room curiously.

Anna was still standing, observing tentatively. As much as she didn't want to admit it, this was a little cool yet silently slightly frightening. She watched as the others went right into their favourite stations.

"Can I try out my powers on you?" Diana asked Ada. "I won't make it too scary. Just want to see if I'm out of shape or not."

Drake paused on the other side of the huge room, his back to the wall. Lifting his hand, palm out, he willed a block of metal up with his mind. Keeping his concentration, Drake moved it through the air, amused, since it looked like the metal block had sprouted imaginary wings and was trying to escape. He moved it until it was floating a couple inches above Diana's head.

Diana twitched, and out of the corner of her eye, spotted a dark shape float over to pause above here head. "Very funny Drake," she muttered.

Fate walked across the room and turned into a wolf on the way. Shaking her hindquarters, she started her long procedure of grooming her fluffy pelt first.

"Or maybe on you, Fate?" Diana called over. "I might not want to scare the newbies." She grinned to show she was joking, and jogged over to Fate, patting her now shaggy head. Her green eyes glowed down into the wolf's bright yellow ones. "You make a very nice wolf. Wanna be my pet?" she joked.

~Since Fate has been here before, can Diana and her be friends last year as well as this year? o.O~

Fate howled approvingly, shaking her fur.

~Ok that's fine ~

Diana grinned and poked the wolf's nose. "Was that a yes to me torturing you with illusions, or being my pet, so I can feed you meat, and you can guard me?"

Using her nose, Fate traced a 1 on the floor and looked up at Diana, panting.

Anna, not knowing what to do, strike up a conversation with Ada. "What's your power than?"

~really omg i didn noe :O hahah you noe i could write Luke is possessed by some monster...and you guys are practicing your powers now rite? ~

Ada looked around cautiously. She had just found out about her powers several weeks ago, and wasn't really sure how it worked. As she stood at the side, observing the others, she realised how powerful they all were .

" I somehow am able to detect and read people's emotions. Your powers are pretty cool~" Ada answered.

Diana appeared hurt. "No pet?" she grinned and patted Fate's head. "Okay, here we go!" She turned so her green eyes bored into Fate's now yellow ones. Big snarling, hostile, aggressive dragon-creatures. Dozens of them, bigger than wolves, and lightning fast... Razor sharp fangs, dripping with saliva, growling, darkness, the smell of carrion. Alone, blood-curling howls and screams of pain as they pulled down others trapped in the darkness with the inhuman creatures. Lightning flashing, a huge creature bearing down on Fate, fanged jaws open wide, eyes red with hunger, snarling, claws extended, Diana thought, forming the illusion within her mind with practiced ease.

~You Luke, right? We just walk in and Drake said hi (he's your roommate, right?) So we're all inside and Ada and Anna feeling awkward.They're new.~

~yeps and oh ok. shall walk over and say hi to you guys~
Luke, sensing voices behind turned around and realise that a group of people have just entered the room. He decided to make some friends.
"Oh hi! I am Luke, I am new here!" Luke smiled, directing his question to Ada and Anna

Drake stopped tossing stuff around and noticed two of the girls still hanging around the entrance, looking fidgety. "Hey," he called. "What's up?"

"Oh hey Drake! Nice to see you again," Luke shouted out to his roommate.

"Then I don't need to tell you that my power is fresh water," she said with an easy smile she learnt to fake. She hoped that Ada wasn't too good or she'd know about Adonis...

"Hi," she replied to Luke. "I was worried that I would be the only newbie." She laughed. "There's already three now."

"Umm... we're not sure which station we should go to?" she replied to Drake, accidentally phrasing her statement into a question. It was the truth though.

"Hey Luke," Drake answered, grinning. "What are you doing with that tennis ball?" He turned to Anna and nodded slightly. "You can go to any station. I heard you saying something about water, and there's a station over there..." He turned to point at where a where a twelve-foot, by twelve-foot pool was in a corner, partly sealed off by metal walls. "Its fresh water, no chlorine, not made for swimming. See that marble platform off on that side? It's for people with water power to stand on and practice with the water. That help?"

"Hi..." Ada waved awkwardly. "I'm not sure how these things work." she pointed to the stations in the room. "anyways i can only practice my powers on a living thing."

"Well I am glad too" Luke smiled.
"Trying to freeze it in mid air I guess, and I am failing at it , " luke relied.

Drake grinned at Luke. "Maybe try with a feather instead?" he teased him. "Yeah, anyways, maybe you should help Ada train her emotion thingy. I could help too, since I'm bored." He snatched up a knife in the weapons section with his mind, and began toying with it, tossing it around the air, making patterns.

Fate fidgeted restlessly as the images went into her mind. When it was done, she looked up at Diana and barked, nodding her head up and down.

Ada glanced at Diana. "Do you mind trying your powers on me?" She grinned cheekily, "I wanna see how it feels like..."

Fate turned back into her human form, swishing her cat tail. Glancing at Ada, she warned, "It can be quite scary! But I'm used to it, because she always practises on me last year."

"Oh... Well it's alright! Maybe just a little sneak peek?" Ada pleaded. This was a chance to distract herself from her own wild thoughts.
